About

I am an art dealer and an expert art appraiser who grew up surrounded by Haitian art. I developed an appreciation and passion for art at an early age under the influence of my father, an icon in the Haitian art world. I specialize in the unique field of Haitian Art. I have been selling and appraising it since 1989. I pride myself on being a professional, experienced, and qualified Haitian art dealer and appraiser. I am the daughter of the famous Haitian art dealer and promoter Georges S. Nader, who founded the internationally renowned Galeries d'Art Nader (Nader's Art Galleries) and Musee d'Art Nader (Nader's Art Museum) in Haiti in 1966. In 1988, I graduated from New York University with a bachelor of science degree in information systems. From 1989 to 1999, I assisted my father in managing both art galleries downtown in Port-au-Prince and Croix Desprez, and I also worked closely with Mr. Gérald Alexis, then the museologist and art critic for Musee d'Art Nader in Haiti. In 2003, I opened Galerie d'Art Nader, LLC in Coral Gables, Florida. In 2014, I joined the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the Association of Online Appraisers (AOA). Through their guidance, my professional education concerning the appraisal field is ongoing. All of my appraisals are compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation as well as the AOA and ASA ethics codes. Today, my gallery is an independently owned family trade business and is strictly online based in New York State. It offers the most extensive and comprehensive selection of Haitian arts, with nearly 20,000 pieces for sale from contemporary artists living in Haiti and abroad. I have the passion, the right expertise, the right DNA, and the proper knowledge to be your best-qualified appraiser for your qualified Haitian art appraisals.
