1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing https://findaqualifiedappraiser.com (“Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.Find a Qualified Appraiser (“we,” “us,” “our”) reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of service

Find a Qualified Appraiser is an online directory of personal property appraisers built from professional appraiser registries, association directories, appraiser websites, and other public sources. We provide a platform for users to find appraisers and for appraisers to be discovered. We are not a party to any transaction between users and appraisers.

3. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. We do not independently verify the qualifications of any listed appraiser beyond the registry sources described in our verification policy. Users are responsible for independently verifying an appraiser's credentials and suitability for their specific needs.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find a Qualified Appraiser shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (if any).

5. User conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (b) scrape or harvest appraiser data for commercial use without written permission; (c) submit false or misleading information; (d) interfere with the Site's operation or security.

6. Appraiser listings

Appraiser information is sourced from public professional registries. If you are an appraiser and believe your listing is incorrect or wish to update or remove it, contact us at [email protected]. We will process correction requests within 14 business days.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's design, content, and software are owned by Find a Qualified Appraiser. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Appraiser names, credentials, and contact information are included for directory purposes only.

8. SMS notifications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, Find a Qualified Appraiser may send transactional text messages about your appraiser listing, lead alerts, Premium early access lead alerts, lead-cap notices, claim verification, and account or billing updates. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and lead volume. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help or contact [email protected]. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
