Perri Guthrie

Perri Guthrie is a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers, an affiliate of ISA Private Client Services and a past president of ISA's Executive Board of Directors.

Specializing in 20th and 21st century American and European fine art with a concentration in the Post-War and Contemporary art sectors, Guthrie has provided fine art appraisal and advisory services nationally to collectors, foundations, museums, cultural institutions, law firms, wealth management companies, insurance carriers, and their fiduciaries for over thirty years.

Guthrie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design at the University of California, Los Angeles; has completed the International Society of Appraisers Core and Advanced Methodology courses, maintained her credentials through ISA's requalification program, and is compliant with the current doctrine of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Prior to serving as vice president and later as president on ISA's Executive Board of Directors, Guthrie had undertaken responsibilities as Assets 2015 (Philadelphia) Conference Co-Chair and ISA's Fine Art Committee Chair. Select past and present affiliations include terms as Art Division (Los Angeles) Board Director, Louisiana Artworks (New Orleans) Board Director, Dallas Center for Contemporary Art Board Director, Communities Foundation of Texas-Emergency Artists Support League's Steering Committee Member, Dallas Museum of Art League's Board Member-at-Large, Dallas Museum of Art League's Fine Art Auction Chair, and CHC (Palo Alto) Board Director.  She currently serves as a Trustee on the Board of The Appraisal Foundation (Washington D.C.).

Guthrie has been honored with ISA's President Awards (2016-2017, 2019-2020), Leadership Awards (2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2019-2020) as well as ISA's Publication Award (2013-2014) as one of the contributing editors and writers of ISA's A Guide to Appraising Fine Art: ISA Course Manual , (revised edition, 2014).
